1. Agreement & Acceptance
This MTVF PRO Service Agreement (the “Agreement”) governs the relationship between Beijing MoteArt Digital Technology Co., Ltd. (“we”) and any user (“you”) who purchases MTVF PRO. By completing this one-time purchase within MTVF, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted all terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to any term, please do not purchase.
2. Definitions
MTVF: a director’s viewfinder application developed by Beijing MoteArt Digital Technology Co., Ltd., used for pre-production lens planning, composition, framing, and shooting metadata recording. MTVF PRO: a one-time, non-consumable digital product that permanently unlocks the applicable MTVF PRO features described in Section 3. Huawei Account: the account you use to sign in to Huawei AppGallery and Huawei In-App Purchases, used for purchasing and restoring entitlements.
3. MTVF PRO Services
After unlocking MTVF PRO, you may use the following features:
- update camera and lens database packages to receive new bodies, lenses, and focal lengths;
- select camera bodies, sensor modes, lenses, focal lengths, and extenders for precise framing planning;
- enable photo and video metadata watermarks; and
- save library files to the system Gallery, share files, and generate PDF shoot reports, including contact sheets, storyboards, and equipment lists.
Free features, including the viewfinder, composition guides, framelines, spirit level or tilt calibration, and capture, remain available to all users regardless of whether MTVF PRO is unlocked. The exact scope of MTVF PRO features may change across versions.
4. Fees & Purchase
MTVF PRO is a one-time purchase completed through Huawei In-App Purchases (Huawei IAP). It is not an auto-renewing subscription: we will not charge you automatically without your confirmation, and no recurring billing occurs. Once purchased, the entitlement remains permanently valid until terminated under this Agreement. The exact price is subject to the localized price displayed in Huawei AppGallery or on the in-app purchase page at the time of purchase.
5. Restore Purchases
Your MTVF PRO entitlement is tied to your Huawei Account. After device replacement, reinstalling the App, or clearing app data, you can restore the purchase by signing in with the same Huawei Account.
6. Refund Policy
MTVF PRO is a virtual digital product. Refund requests are handled in accordance with applicable law and the Huawei In-App Purchases and Huawei AppGallery refund rules in effect at the time of the request. You may submit a request through Huawei’s help and customer-service channels, and we will cooperate to the extent required by applicable law. This is a one-time purchase without automatic renewal, so no subscription-cancellation process applies.
7. Your Rights & Responsibilities
You must purchase MTVF PRO through official channels and must not obtain or distribute its entitlement by cracking, account sharing, resale, or any other means that bypasses the payment mechanism. MTVF PRO features are for your personal, or your entity’s, lawful use in filmmaking, education, or appreciation only and must not be used for any illegal purpose.
8. Intellectual Property & Data Use
The MTVF application, its interface, code, and database content are owned by Beijing MoteArt Digital Technology Co., Ltd. or its rights holders, with all related copyrights and intellectual property rights reserved. Camera and lens brands, models, and trademarks belong to their respective manufacturers; Beijing MoteArt Digital Technology Co., Ltd. and MTVF are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with these manufacturers, and the records are provided solely for specification reference and framing planning. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or redistribute the database content without authorization.
9. Service Changes & Termination
We may update MTVF PRO features, database content, or service capabilities as the product evolves. Where permitted by law, we will notify you of material changes via reasonable means such as in-app notices. If a purchase is refunded or revoked, or if you seriously breach this Agreement, we may suspend or terminate your MTVF PRO entitlement in accordance with applicable law. This product does not involve a subscription cycle; “termination” refers only to revocation of the entitlement.
10. Disclaimer
Information provided by MTVF—such as camera and lens specifications, framelines, field of view (FOV), focal-length conversions, and watermark metadata—is calculated from database records and device measurements or calibration and is for reference only. Due to differences in database version, device model, calibration accuracy, and actual equipment batches, results may deviate from manufacturer-stated values. Before important shoots, please rely on official manufacturer specifications and on-site measurements.
11. Protection of Minors
If you are under 18, please read this Agreement with your guardian and have the purchase completed by your guardian after obtaining their consent. Guardians should manage Huawei Accounts and payment methods properly to prevent minors from purchasing MTVF PRO without consent.
12. Privacy
For complete details about how your personal information is processed, including HUAWEI ID and In-App Purchases, order and purchase-token processing, cloud entitlement verification, professional database downloads, storage locations, cross-border processing, and your rights, please refer to the current MTVF Privacy Policy. Purchase-related account, order, and payment flows are processed by Huawei In-App Purchases and governed by Huawei’s applicable privacy rules. We do not receive your HUAWEI ID password, bank-card details, or other payment-account credentials. The App processes only the purchase receipt or purchase token necessary for entitlement verification and encrypts any purchase token that must be stored. The MTVF Privacy Policy forms an integral part of this Agreement.
13. Agreement Changes & Governing Law
We may update this Agreement from time to time; updates will be published in the App or on this hosted agreement page. The interpretation, validity, and dispute resolution of this Agreement are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China (for the purposes of this Agreement, excluding the laws of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan).
